The current economic situation in Pakistan has put immense pressure on all businesses, and the automobile industry is no exception. The rise in the cost of raw materials, both locally and internationally, has significantly impacted the production cost of motor bikes. Suzuki, one of the largest automobile manufacturers in Pakistan, has announced a price hike for its products. The company stated that the current economic uncertainties, inflation, and increase in utilities and overheads have made it extremely difficult for them to maintain their current selling prices.  As a result, Suzuki have increase the prices of their cars and motorbikes twice in two weeks. The prices have risen by as much as Rs. 41,000, which has come as a shock to many customers. These new prices are effective from 10th Feb 2023.

Suzuki has stated that they have tried their best to absorb the impact of these adverse conditions, but it has become increasingly difficult to hold on to the current selling prices. The company has taken the decision to increase the prices of their vehicles as a last resort, so that they can continue to provide their customers with high-quality vehicles.
